Four out of the past seven IBS 1000 Yard National Championships were won by competitors shooting rifles built by Gordy: Lee Fischer won in 2005 and again in 2006, Edward Nazy won in 2009, Jim Bauer won in 2010, and now Gordy Gritters won 2'nd place Overall in 2011.
